We do love love these monochromatic time travelling echoes, fractures in pop journeying down worm holes back to simpler ages through the channelled vessel that is Polytechnic Youth, this imminent happening by the Ina Bauer Trio entitled ‘simple observation’ forms part of a forthcoming split lathe cut outing that finds the Assistant sharing the groove space. With its minimalist micro-tech detailing, this slice of isolationist retro futuro tastiness comes air brushed in a sterile and clinical psychotronic eeriness that’s chillingly dinked in an icy remoteness that imagines a John Foxx fronting Flying Lizards picking over the analogue debris of Add N to X.
