Halloween hangover…..

wouldn’t blame you if this had managed to sneak below your radar, we nearly missed it ourselves, but a belated Halloween ‘hangover’ from the late junction folk, this broadcast featuring a guest appearance by strange record hunter Jonny Trunk bringing with him a few choice library rarities played between chat. As always the set list is impeccable, a spooky theme running throughout amongst the selected platters for play the utterly beguiling ‘requiem for the Duke of Burgundy’ by Cat’s Eye, a forgotten oldie from Batcave fiends the Venomettes, Gene Moore, Yohuna more of whose sounds we’ll be endeavouring to track down following the hearing of ‘the moon hangs in the sky like nothing hangs in the sky’ – likewise with both Black Strings and lil ugly mane who serve up the sets strangest visitations. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b080xztk
