patterned air vs. the wire

over at the Wire central, they are hosting a superb mix cloud set put together by Matt Saunders – he of head honcho duties over at patterned air records, the mix – eclectic as you might rightly imagine fuses radiophonics, gloopy electronics, techno and the odd aplenty, best moment is the overlay of Roy of the Ravers ‘emotinium’ across the distinctly eerie and harshly stilled ‘running’ by Delia Derbyshire and Barry Bermange which if you haven’t heard previously then we suggest you hold off until daylight looms, really creepy isolationist stuff. Elsewhere a few prize picks from Kreidler, Raymond Scott, Sauveur Mallia – who we may have mentioned a week or so ago if memory serves right, anyhow an hour well spent we suggest yours will be too – go here https://www.thewire.co.uk/audio/tracks/listen-to-an-exclusive-mix-from-patterned-air-recordings
