arriving as a limited issue on the public house recordings in house imprint of norman records, this is quite magnificent ‘diesl’ by Dalham from a full-length set entitled ‘waves’. A slow burning cinematic soundtrack for a day break one might imagine heralding the ascent of some hitherto post-apocalyptic sunrise emerging through the radioactive haze, its snaking majesty at once skin burnt in a lilting euphoric dystopian rapture and very much schooled by an early 80’s VHS film school mindset where elements of Fiedel and Carpenter curdle with the darkening shadow play tones of Pye Corner Audio, quite essential i wouldn’t wonder. https://soundcloud.com/artcorvelay/diesl
