Next up on this brief soiree, a new set from Maurizio Abate entitled ‘standing waters’ which as previously, we’ll just delve into a little while we prep for a full review. A quick rummage around its five awaiting tracks, it is ‘Nymphs dance’ that has been extracting from us momentary swooning bouts. Ten and a half minutes of serene beauty whereupon the delicacy of fluency and flight-ness seductively demurs to the schooling of John Fahey, the expressionism sublime, the vibe divine with such free spirited close intimacy the likes of which in recent recall, only Scott William Urquhart have dared to dazzle.
