beaulieu porch

those of you mourning the fading summer and fearing the embrace of winter’s extending dark hand may well be advised to stock up on your Vitamin D soaked SAD deflectors. Better still, is to fall headlong into the sunny radiance that ripples from the merry mosaics and exquisitely effervescent artistry pristinely penned by the much admired Beaulieu Porch on ‘Simeon touches the ground’. A vividly colourful carnival of sound peppered in all manner of beaming brass fanfares, the daisy chaining of jubilant Kink meets Tomorrow-er Keith West nostalgia and glam tinged kaleidoscopia. Possessed of an acute English eccentric, Beaulieu Porch wistfully steps outside of time and to a becoming palette, politely picks a harmonic harvest that deliriously echoes of the Zombies, Beatles era ‘magic mystery tour’ and Terry Jacks.
