We do miss our Bureau B fixes, this most eclectic of kraut kooled imprints often adept at bending the rules and pushing the envelope, have over the course of the last few years, been responsible for nurturing sonic hybrids that have extended and shifted the fixed parameters of the kraut / kosmische spectrum to new amorphous environs. Keeping in line with this creative philosophy, Tellavision whose ‘Add Land’ full length is due to impact early April time, from off which ‘projector running’ has been sent ahead on scouting detail, appears to be fully onboard with the labels experimental remit. Initially clumpy if not industrially monochrome, there’s a coolly chilled abstract awareness afoot here, a tension, an edge more so a celebration rising from the artificial neutral as the earth beat dialect hones hypnotically. And then the most curious of things occur, peeling its skin it slithers, contorts and once finding its feet and poise, snakes seductively to the twisting arabesque rhythms to forge an entrancing and deeply immersive soul spiritual.
