kitchen cynics

Staying with reverb worship for something that thus far has managed to sneak beneath our radar, this is the Kitchen Cynics with a track from their limited press ‘our flimsy craft’ CD entitled ‘Rosemary and her Burdens’ which as someone has rightly posted, does sound a lot like Alasdair Roberts and perhaps more so, something that ought to, first port of call, appeal to those much adoring of the Sonido Polifonico imprint. Utterly adorable, we love its unobtrusive aura in so much as the way it doesn’t really push, shout or elbow its way into your affections rather more, preferring to draw you hypnotically into its fog bound shimmered sigh and dare we neglect to mention the calming lull its genuflecting frosted folk motifs usher, absolutely blissful and magically mysterious.
