Another release I’m now kicking myself silly for missing is the limited re-issue / re-press of the Banshees’ jewel in the crown ‘join hands’ – this version comes housed in the originally intended sleeve designed by John Maybury and by all accounts rejected by the label fearful of its religious nature and potential backlashes that might ensue. The album also features ‘Infantry’ closing out the set as originally planned though at the last minute before going to pressing was mysteriously dropped its inclusion now adding a sense of bleakly cold finality missed on the original.
